We have had a lovely start to the summer term by welcoming animal handlers from White Post Farm into school. We made sure to demonstrate our healthy habits when meeting our fury friends. We were curious and asked some great questions about each animal, we made sure to be respectful and handled all the animals with care. It was a lovely way to spend the day and it was wonderful to see the children with big smiles on their faces.
We have also been working on completing another one of our Thoresby 30 targets by learning to ride a balance bike. The children had to focus on developing their core strength, coordination, steering, braking and their confidence. It was amazing to cross another challenge off the list and try a new activity at the same time.
