Thoresby Vale Primary Academy – part of the Diverse Academies Trust – is excited to welcome pupils when we open our doors in September 2025. As part of our commitment to serving the local community, we have carefully considered the need for nursery provision and want to ensure any future plans support both families and existing early years providers in the area.
After thoughtful discussions, the decision has been made that a nursery will not be part of the school’s initial opening phase. This approach ensures that we do not cause disruption to local businesses that currently offer early years education and childcare. Our goal is to complement and enhance the existing early learning options rather than create unnecessary competition.
However, we recognise the importance of high-quality nursery provision, and we remain open to introducing one in the future if there is clear demand from families in the community. As the school establishes itself and local needs evolve, we will continue to assess how best to support early years education at Thoresby Vale Primary Academy.
